About DBTGR

Ci-trop

Gene product: tropomyosin-like
Organism: C. intestinalis
Summary of experimentsAbout 1.4 kb are enough for expression in notochord (Di Gregorio 1999)

A 114 bp long minimal enhancer was identified between -1392 and -1278. It contains two sets of low-affinity Brachyury half-sites: Ci-Bra-proximal 1/2 and Ci-Bra-distal 1/2.

Removal of Ci-Bra-distal 1/2 results in the loss of notochord expression (Di Gregorio 1999)
Activity reported

Ci-Bra regulates Ci-trop in notochord in C. intestinalis (6, 7, 28)
