About DBTGR

Ci-Rga

Gene product: MtN3 saliva family transmembrane protein
Organism: C. intestinalis
Summary of experiments2 splice forms of six exons, only the first one differs.
1st form is expressed in the, fertilized egg, larva, cleaving embryo and tailbud embryo.
2nd form (lacking the first 28 aa) is expressed only in larva.
Maternal expression up to 16-cell stage. Expression in the animal hemisphere at the 32- and 64-cell stage. Expression in muscle precursors and neural tube precursors at the margin of the vegetal hemisphere at the 110-cell stage. No expression detected at the neurula and gastrula stages.
Activity reported

An unknown factor regulates Ci-Rga in muscle, neural tube precursors in C. intestinalis (31)
