Expressed in the A5.1, A5.2 and B5.1 cells at the 16-cell stage.
Expressed in the A6.1, A6.3 and B6.1 cells at the 32-cell stage.
No expression detected at the 64-cell stage.
Expressed in the posterior neural plate and the anterior nervecord cells.
Expression controled by nuclear accumulation of beta-catenin via Tcf-binding elements.
The three TBE sites are necessary for expression.
Promoter activity is reduced to 42% if TBE1 is missing, to 22% if TBE1 and TBE2 are missing and to 2% if all three sites are removed.
