Summary of experiments
Minimal promoter is 105 bp long from TSS
Overlapping expression with Ci-Tbx6c in B7.5 cells at 110-cell stage (early gastrula).
Expressed in B8.9 and B8.10 at mid-gastrula and the four B7.5 decendants at the late gastrula.
The expression disappears by the beginning of neurulation.
Cs-FGF9/16/20 does not control Cs-Mesp.
beta-catenin and Cs-macho1 are essential for Cs-Mesp transcription.
