About DBTGR
Ci-MRLC1
Gene product: myosin regulatory light chain
Organism:
C. intestinalis
Summary of experiments
Note: This gene is named Ci-MRLC2 in the publications by Kusakabe et al.
Region from -434 to +136 allows expression in muscle. (Kusakabe 2004)
TATA
box between -39 and -34.
The M2 motif is important for expression in muscle. (Kusakabe 2004)
Ci-Tbx6b and Ci-Tbx6c bind to 5'-GWTCACACCT-3' in vitro.
Ci-Tbx6b and Ci-Tbx6c are necessary for expression at the 110-cell stage. (Yagi 2005)
At the tailbud stage, in the absence of Ci-Tbx6b, expression is only found in the posterior blastomeres (Yagi 2005)
